I can say that children have been a part of my life in many capacities in many places--from a middle school in New Hampshire to a Montessori School in South Carolina to child development centers in Japan to elementary schools in Okinawa and Jacksonville, NC.  With my husband's military career, we were able to move around the world.  The one constant throughout was, and still is, the love of working with children. 

I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from Excelsior College in New York and am finishing my master' in counseling education from ECU.  I have been married to my husband for thirty-two years.  We have a daughter, Samantha, who is twenty-five and just recently married.
